THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS WORKSHOP:

The objectives of this workshop is to provide delegates with a basic yet comprehensive introduction to the South African Employment Relations environment.

This workshop has been designed as a valuable tool for HR Business Partners, HR Officers, Employment Relations Practitioners, Industrial Relations Practitioners and Line Managers and Supervisors who are involved in ER/IR matters at the workplace with a foundation in theory and practice.

This is a 2- day workshop – start and end times per day can be flexible and in line with clients operations.

  • Understand the meaning of incapacity and knowing what procedure to follow when addressing it with an employee.
  • Understand Absenteeism in the  workplace.
  • Identify and deal with the abuse of sick leave in the workplace.
  • Understand the issues around cannabis within the workplace
  • Understand Social- Media and workplace misconduct.
  • Differentiate between Fair Unfair discrimination.
  • Understand the Grievance process.
  • Understand the role of the CCMA within the Employee Relations Environment.
